Matthew Prophet and Heath Wright created 77 Recycling in 2006 in response to the waste reduction initiative demanded by business and their consumers.

77 specializes in plastics recycling but do provide its customers a one stop shop service recycling OCC (cardboard), glass, metals, paper and of course plastics.   The main focus is to divert as much waste material from landfills and incinerators and to supply the secondary markets with quality recycled materials to make new products.

Mr. Prophet was a mechanic engineer at Nypro Inc. for 15 years when he noticed that there was a need for quality domestic recyclers in the US. He partnered with his long time friend Heath Wright an Industrial Designer and 77 was born. 77’s main mission is to provide customers with a sustainable solution for their waste streams while at the same time increasing their bottom line.

77 Recycling is committed to customer service and strives to provide its customers with high quality products at competitive pricing. The intent is to create a long-term and trusting relationship with both customers and suppliers.

77 Recycling strives to meet expectations in terms of price, delivery and customer service.

77 Recycling partners with manufacturing facilities, distributors, waste haulers and transfer stations to reclaim as much scrap material; convert it and ultimately funnel it back into the manufacturing community.
